Guide out to lunch.

I came home after being gone for 3 hours and suddenly my guide says 'No Information Available" on all my channels beyond the next 2 hours. I also cannot scroll out beyond what's on the screen even though I can scroll up, down, and backwards. I checked all fittings and did a cold reboot (turned off the 722 DVR and turned it back on). All sats are showing green. Any ideas beyond calling Dish? If so please be specific as I'm not the most adept guy around. Thanks.

Do a check switch.

May have to do a couple of check switches or a hard reset (unplug receiver for about 10 seconds). The guide info needs a forced download.

Thanks, that did the trick. I did call Dish and they said the 722 was done and wanted me to replace with a 922 + a new 2 year commitment At first I said yes then read comments and suggestions on this sight and cancelled this morning. Seems like not a lot of folks too happy with the 922. One called it a boat anchor. Glad I hang around here.

Good call. It did get new software, but I would not go with it.
