It's a bummer that M$ didn't release standard HDD for the 360 like the PS3, instead they went ahead and made their own HDD type, which it makes hard for people to get it from other merchants other than being a M$ product, just shows that they will make you spend a fortune on an HDD that you could get from newegg or any other places for much cheaper price.

I don't think this will be the last GTA on the xbox 360.
They are about to make stupid amount of money off both systems, so why not release it for both systems again?
We are talking about GTA 7...thats like nearly 10 years away from now, by that time there will be PS4, if not PS5.

Either way, you're just crying over getting 1-upped here... if it comes out only on PS3... I'll just buy it for that console, I have both. The 360 is offering a better experience it looks like for this iteration (Achievements, whatever the exclusive DLC ends up being + the DLC that will likely be common to the two systems to maximize profits) so I am buying it for that console.

Well there are many companies that could very well end up buying them out, (EA, SONY, Microsoft) Obviously EA would be the most likely scenerio. And EA is pro SONY anyway.

Nobody is crying here, Im glad that its on both systems, Im glad that you are getting it on the 360, and I am getting mine on my PS3.
I dont have both though, because I rely on console stability, and everybody knows the 360 is not a stable console.

Um All EA ports (See madden 0X) on the PS3 (and half - life which they ported for Valve) have been 1/2 frame rate as 360.
So I don't see how that could be beneficial for the PS3 camp.
Hope that a company who cares buys Take 2. Because EA defiantly does not.
EA is not pro Sony. EA is pro profit and I'm sure that if they wind up getting Take Two then that is an almost guarantee that any future GTA project will be multi-platform. EA's too greedy to pass up the chance to maximize the profit of a GTA game by not releasing it on every console they can. Heck, if EA's running the show, I bet you'll even see a Wii,PSP,DS and PC version all launch on the same day with the 360 and PS3.
Wooohooo, its friday, only 2 more work days till GTA4!!! I'm geeked!!! seriously, im looking foward to mostly is the multiplayer. Imagine this, playing cops and crooks, the extraction point for your boss is 6 blocks away, your buddies are fending off the cops behind you as your blazing through times square, only to look ahead, and see the military chopper hovering over the street with 2 cops armed with machine guns aiming at your car, the traffic, the pedestrians everywhere!!! man, i cant wait for some multiplayer!!!!!!!!! I love how certain people always have to argue about what system is better and what game will be better... Instead of arguing about crap like that, how about we just enjoy the fact that GTA is almost here.

I put in for Tuesday AND Wednesday off. And with the way our schedule is set up, I would still lose two other days if they aren't taken soon and it's the slowest time of year for us (our calender re-starts (raises, vacation / sick time, etc) on June 1st. (I may end up taking the rest of next week). I bought a Playstation 3 two days ago for this... I don't have any games yet -- just the pre-order for GTA4.
You know.. this really isn't a PS3 vs 360 thread. We're all supposed to be united in our love and anticipation for GTA4. This is supposed to bring us together, not pull us apart dammit!
Well said. I don't intend on (and hope I haven't) knocking any 360 owners. It's a wonderful system from what I hear. I have a cousin that is very loyal to the XBOX brand. My only reason for choosing a PS3 is the same loyalty.
Regardless, I have a feeling that, come Tuesday, we'll all be thrilled with this title whether we are playing it on a PS3 or a 360. I've read all kinds of information online about the multi-player options and must admit that I'm more anxious about this release that I was GTA3, Vice City, or San Andreas (combined).

The only one I was really salivating over was Vice City. In my opinion that was the best one. Best cast of characters and storylines, as well as the best music. San Andreas was just like an overload of stuff. I know it sounds weird, but the experience system wasn't that great in my opinion, and a lot of the other side stuff seemed like it was just thrown in for quantity's sake. Actually this will be the first GTA I will play. LOL, I wasn't "into" sandbox games at all until Crackdown came out.
After that I couldn't get enough, and assassins creed made it my 2nd favorite style (right after RPG)
