Greetings to all

I am sort of a greener when it comes to satellite wherewithall, but I am eager to learn. Just recently got set up with a DishTV system --- two dishes and magic box and two channel switcher (110 & 119). The box is a Pansat 2700A. Don't really know if this is good stuff or not. Hoping to learn the ins and outs at this forum.

I have tried to set it up, but I seem to have optioned myself into a corner. I wonder if there is a very basic primer for blokes like me to help us through the installation and set up routines.

Appreciate any help or direction.

I never heard someone call it a "magic box" .
Dumb asses. Wasn't there a thread about this started yesterday (http://www.satelliteguys.us/showthread.php?t=48674 ) .
