Got a Sprint Mogul (6800) for only $288.99

Mine was shipped UPS Next Day Air Saver. Tracking number should start with 1Z.
 
Anyone know where to get a charge cradle for the Sprint Mogul? How about a good accessories site in general that has items for the Mogul? Thanks.:)
 
Yeah...yeah..Dragging up an old thread.... but it's some good news.

I've been following the progress the folks at PPCGeeks are making on cracking the Mogul for custom ROM loading. I finally grew a pair...and dove in. I loaded the fixed SPL to unlock the phone and loaded the Alltel ROM. I noticed a big increase in my EVDO performance, maybe due to the part that the EVDO service is provided my Alltel in my area even though the voice is on Sprint. I was digging around today on PPCGeeks and found the Colonel's new 10/18 ROM. I loaded it on the phone and wow... if these guys are just starting out on things I can't wait to see what is in store next!
 
Oooh! Colonel has a new rom?

EDVO Revision A and turning on the cellular based GPS service is supposed to happen by the end of the month.

With that said I may just have to load up the new Colonel. :D

It's just starting out...but yep he's got one out there. It's on the PPCGeeks FTP. Lots of goodies in that ROM!

EDIT: Hmm...they removed it from the FTP. I still have the file if you need it.
 
Thanks Digiblur but if its not too late then don't bother, I see that the Colonels Rom removes Microsoft Office from the phone and I use word on the PDA all the time.

So that would keep me from upgrading at this time.
 
You guys are going to love EVDO Rev A. Not sure how it works on Sprint or Mogul, but my Dell Laptop with Rev A on Verizon gets 2.6 Mbs down and 1.3 up. I can typically get sling box video and two streaming security cameras with sound at the same time in most major cities. In smaller towns and rural, I'm still at old EVDO which averages 350-500kbps. which restricts to one video stream at a time.

PS- I'm not planning to upgrade to 6800 until Verizon gets it. Still happy with my 6700.

I just checked and it has Excel Mobile, PowerPoint Mobile, and Word Mobile 6.1.
 
Looks like it's down now. Here I start reading that PPCGeeks thread and was getting all excited to load it on my 6800, and then skipped to the last page only to find that it's not functioning now. Oh well.

I loaded Colonel's rom to check out some programs but it was just too much stuff. So I picked the ones I liked, loaded up the clean DCD rom, and added a few programs I like. Love the WkTask program!
