Good Signal Strength for San Francisco?

My problems with a temperature sensitive LNB have made me wonder what good signal strengths are here in San Francisco area.

I have Dish 500, with 811 receiver.

My signals this morning about 8am are:
110/11 = 87 110/12 = 90
119/11 = 70 119/12 = 96

(the 119 odd transponders seem to be a problem area, when it gets hot the signals strength goes down. On the last two hottest days 208 and 209 disappear. A white homemade sun sheild seemed to help. Dish is sending a new LNB.)

Anyway, do I need to do a little tweaking to get signal strength higher?

Thanks for your thoughts,

Jeff

My signal at 9am in Rohnert Park:
110/11 = 90 110/12 = 91
119/11 = 101 119/12 = 99
148/11 = 103 148/12 = 80

It's been reported here that a certain lot DP Twin LNB were defective. So you may want to make sure you don't have this lot # CCS9601 printed on your DP Twin LNB. They are very temperature sensitive. I would not be surprised if this is your problem.

My signal currently in Fremont:
110/11 = 82 110/12 = 88
119/11 = 100 119/12 = 92
148/11 = 101 148/12 = 82
61.5/25 = 108 61.5/12 = 111

ride525: Wait for the new LNBF - mounting it might change the aim slightly, so a re-peak is in order anyway.

styxfix: You must be in the sky there to get 61.5 from the left coast - good job. :)

Ok to Combine RF outputs of 2 receivers?
