Looks like Issac shutting down some platforms and refineries is hitting us now. We jumped to $3.69 this morning and the news is saying expect it to go higher for the Holiday weekend.
Gasoline prices spiked 15 to 20 cents per gallon here last night.
Looks like Distributors raised their prices in anticipation of supply interruptions.
Bad enough the Gulf Coast refineries have shut down. If they shut the pipelines down, gas in the southeast could go well over $4.00 per gallon by next week.
Prices here are around $3.80 up from the high $3.50's and low $3.60's yesterday.
Paid $4.04 for mid grade non ethanol in zip 37683. My buddy owns the store where I got the gas & said they(oil company) just jacked up the prices this morning.
Traveled the lower central part of the state and parts of Texas Sunday thru Tuesday, gas prices ranged from $3.45 in El Paso to $3.55 in Las Cruces and parts of Alamogordo... even small spots were $3.65, prices here yesterday $3.69 -- $3.77 ...
