Gas Price Info With National Gas Temperature Map

2 weekends ago traveling I-81 in VA I stopped in downtown Harrisonburg & was shocked to see $2.99 for regular gas.

Weds night into Thursday morning, gas spiked here 10-15 cents.
In a 10 mile stretch of a major highway that bisects our County, most stations set their price for Reg at $3.19 per gallon.
I checked cnbc.com, other news services and found nothing in the way of news regarding trouble in the Middle East or Northern Africa.
There are no storms brewing in the Gulf...
I believe what we have here is some good old price fixing among local retailers

Did the same here and I was wondering to myself why, it didn't do it before the 4th. But now it has spiked. Guess to make up for it.

Gas is 3.16 here still where I live. Kinda shocking it's that low since every other town is higher by .20

GAs spiked here on Thursday July 5th. Many stations raised prices 10 to 15 cents per gallon.
Checking futures prices, the August 2012 contract closed at $2.92 per gallon. Oil closed at $92.17....Gas is up from the mid $2.60's 4 weeks ago. Oil is up from about $77 per barrel..

I got $79.72 a barrel this week for the June 1 - June 30 run from our wells. I inherited the mineral rights along with my sisters to our grandparents ranch. We've had 2 wells running there for nearly 35 years now.

We jumped from $3.27 a gallon to $3.39 this morning. Never fails I seem to always get caught filling up on the high side.
