In my hometown last night Brookshires had it at $3.48 and Diamond Shamrock had it at $3.55. The Valero near my work had it this morning at $3.59 and diesel is at $3.99.
Some news reports about Gas being almost $6 a gallon in tourist areas. US Today wrote about it. That's not the whole story. It's always been higher near Disney but if you drive about 5 miles from Disney you see normal prices. You won't find higher prices near Sea World or Universal. $3.69 for Regular. It's just like anything else near Disney, you pay extra for it. That's why Gas Buddy is so good to have.
I was in Oklahoma the past two days for work and the price of gas is cheaper there than it is in Texas. The cheapest I saw on Monday was $3.19 about 40 miles NE of Tulsa. Average for the state was about $3.35.
We jumped from $3.47 to $3.57 Monday. I wasn't happy I got caught in the price jump Monday morning. Now yesterday it was $3.51 and down again to $3.49 today. Wild swing for one week.
