FROM DISH: 622 Video Jitter & Compression Issues

We have just received this from one of our contacts at Dish Network regarding the video jitter many are reporting as well as compression issues with the MPEG4 channels.

There are 2 separate issues that they may be experiencing. The first is the known issue with the 622 that will be fixed by a future software update, ETA unknown, but it is pretty high on the list of things to fix.

The second is compression issues with the MPEG-4 channels. This is also something that we are trying to resolve quickly.

So to sum up, customers will most likely experience a lot of noticeable jitter at times on MPEG – 4 HD channels, especially locals, and not nearly as much noticeable jitter on the SD channels.

Funny I've seen less and less of the jitters on any of my channels hd or sd since the last software update L3.59. This has been a very good software update for my 622s. Since Dish fixed my mpeg4 locals and the Starz hd channel I 'm good.
