hi,
I have the universal package of viewsat 2000 and I am looking for ways to get european and indian channels?

Hello and WELCOME to the SatelliteGuys.US FTA forum!

Have a look at the below links for lists of satellites with LEGAL FTA programming, always check the satellites FOOTPRINT to make sure it can be seen from this country....

This link will help you read the charts.

Watch for C-Band signals, they have a 4 digit frequency and require at least a 6' dish.
KU Band requires at least a 30" dish and those frequencies have 5 digits.

Also check here for lists of FTA channels.

Ku- SBC2 in IA5 is a Indian channel showing comedy secenes form hindi movies and Maharishi Open University in IA5 are two Indian channels I could get. STV- Bangla is there in IA5 if you know Bengali :)

I think with C-Band set up you should be able to get Zee TV USA
