I was called and given Starz free for 3 months agreed but not getting the package. Should I call them or does it usually take a couple days to take effect?

That is usually immediate, I'd call, either they didn't add it or your receivers need to be refreshed because it didn't trigger when they added it.

You could check your online account to see if it shows starz, look at "recent activity".
