Free Preview of NASCAR HotPass This Sunday

I turned in yesterday to check it out, I am not a huge NASCAR fan, but I did not really see anything that stood out. I watched most of the race on fox. But I guess the not really big NFL fan could say the same about Sunday Ticket, which is a staple for me!

I guess Im youd consider me your fringe NASCAR guy.

I checked out Hotpass with an open mind and winced after a brief time.

I fully expected to hear in car communications. The announcers were poor.

I didnt expect to see commercials so I was suprised when they popped on.

I guess I expected to feel more of that "ride along with your driver" feeling and hotpass didnt deliver.

I am sure glad I didn't purchase it. I watched it for about 5 minutes and that was enough for me. Went back to the FOX telecast.

Been following NASCAR for many years and it didn't impress me. Compared to the FOX HD telecast, it was pretty weak.

Maybe D* will try to beef it up, in the future. If not, I don't think the life expectancy of it will be very short.
