Attempted to purchase Dish Network earlier, only to find I would have to pay $200 for installation fee. I could've swore I read "free installation". It didn't even say anything about this in the small print.

What is up about this? It makes little sense.

Who did you attempt to purchase from? I'd advise calling DishStore as they are a sponsor to this site and are known for great customer service. The owner (Claude) frequents these this board.

Sounds like you ordered from a Retailer. Contact Dish directly if you want free installation.

Or was it possibly a prepaid DISH instead of DHA?

Sounds like a Prepaid or free for all setup. DHA installs are free even from retailers.

In that case there are only two possible reasons.

1. You opted for a "Free For All" no contract, purchasing the receivers instead of leasing deal.

2. You have very bad credit or no credit at all.

I assure you.... installation is free.

No.... you paid $49 for Activation! HUGE DIFFERENCE!!!
