What fun! Pay the $99 fee in early June when I upgrade. Then I see my June bill and see the $99 fee come back. Do the online thing, get it fixed. Get my July bill, that darn fee is there again. Go online today and it takes me 15+ minutes to get it resolved.
In the end, she did make me notice a couple credits on my bill. I now recognize those as a fix up from the previous mistake they made in billing... me having HD free for life... and then charging me $10 for HD that month.
Since upgrading to HD, I've had one headache after the other with billing. Are they still using VAX machines to do accounting?
Editted to add: I just wanted to add, I love the HD itself. The quality is great, the HD DVR is great. So the TV viewing has been awesome, but the billing end of it... not a nightmare... yet... but certainly becoming a serious pain in the butt. Worse yet, you can't say, "If I keep having these problems, I'll got to Directv!" They'll just laugh and note that'd it cost me a few hundred plus to do so for leaving the contract early. I just wish their billing was as pleasant as their video quality.
