FOX HD feed from New York

I put in a waiver to get major network HD channels and all of a sudden I can now see the Fox digital feed from New York, but the problem is, while it is HD and full 16X9 but it is only in 720 and the PQ is horrible. Really it's just barely better than SD. Are all the channels that bad or just Fox, and if that is a sign of things to come we are in deep trouble with DirecTV.

I noticed that cbs, hdnet were better than fox when I had cable also. I think they need to imrpove the quality of their transmissions.

Fox is only 16x9 when they are broadcating HD shows. The rest of the time they are in 4x3.

rockaway1836....That's a given, just like all the digtal channels. But the HD PQ is by far the worst I have ever seen. Much worse than the ESPN 720 feed. Does anybody know what's going on?

They are multicasting, that may explain some of it.
