Screens that are designed for daytime viewing are about a grand! If you get a high lumens projector to try to combat ambient light during the day it'll burn your retina's at night.
You may be better served by a 65" RPTV. I believe Hitachi still makes a 65" CRT RPTV that'll give a great smooth picture. The 57" version (57F710A) is $1614.99 this week at Circuit City. A froogle of the 65" (65f710a) shows $1789.95.
While DLP and LCD FP are easy and economical for a really big screen, nothing can beat a good CRT yet, and do you want to buy an extra $300 lamp if yours blows while you wait a week for service on a microdisplay TV?
