First Data to Process More Echostar Payments, Terms Not Disclosed
DENVER (AP) -- Electronic payment processor First Data Corp. said Wednesday its subsidiary, Remitco, received additional business from direct broadcast satellite TV provider EchoStar Communications Corp.
First Data said Remitco -- its remittance division -- will process another 1 million payments per month from EchoStar's DISH Network users. The division already processes about 2 million payments a month.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
