FCC Set Top Box Vote-- Feb 18

The STB goes down in price over time, but the service fees may go up. It's for the option to use the service and how it's used, not for the purchase of the product.

And they can because we will keep on paying them. Cord cutting may end up beneficial to customers for the future of TV. If it's too much in fees, and people keep leaving, then the company either has to change the structure or they have to drive their business into a hole. But helping them remain in the double digits billions revenue every year will not help our case.

I agree. I can afford it now but the $5 every year here and the $1 DVR and $2 set top box fee every other year there adds up. I'm reaching my $$$ threshold. Then I'll stop paying.
