extending rf range on 722 tv2

i know i've seen a post on this before but damned if i can find it. i am using an rg-6 run to tv2 from my 722. i'm right at the edge of the rf range on remote 2. i seem to remember seeing a way to use a splitter on both ends and bring the antenna into the room where tv2 resides. i tried it from memory but had mucho interference in the video signal. can someone help? thanks.
