What type of content will ESPN-U have compared to ESPN?

ESPN-U shows college sports. Mostly the stuff that misses the cut for the top tier time slots on the major networks. Although last Saturday they carried the Virginia Tech football game (VT is ranked #4, but played unranked Ohio).

does any of these additions have to do with Schwimmer (sp?) no longer at E*? Now that the selection of sports networks have been upgraded, could general entertainment networks (Oxygen, etc.) be next?

I think ESPN-U at 141 is awful, they should drop those alternate channels down a space or two and put ESPN-U at 145 right after ESPN-2. I think the ESPN lineup needs shuffled completely considering there are 7 channels...Get rid of the extra alternate channel that no one needs...

140 - ESPN
141 - ESPN 2
142 - ESPNews
143 - ESPN-U
144 - ESPN Classic
145 - Open (Deportes)
146 - Open (Future consideration, Perhaps 'The Ocho" ESPN 8)
147 - ESPN Alternate

Finally, my patience has paid off. Now with ESPNU and CSTV, E* lacks nothing compared to D* as far as my agenda goes. Hello college hockey!
However, if E* forces me to upgrade to the AT180 program to get these two new channels... well then I'll just have to do it. At least they'll be available. It's just a shame they're not also offered in the Multi-sport pack... seems a shame to pay $5.99 for the multi-sport pack, PLUS $10 extra for AT180, just to get the desired sports channels.

I wish it was in Multisport too...sucks I have to maybe upgrade to Top180 for that...I'll see if the college hockey games are worth it to constitute an upgrade
(if its WCHA teams alot, I can deal with that..but not things like Air Force at Bowling Green or something like that

My best friend's sister's boyfriend's brother's girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who's going with the girl who saw Ferris pass out at 31 Flavors last night. I guess it's pretty serious.

It is very rare that a channel not already uplinked to the system becomes available any time other than Wednesday. If ESPNU were already in the system, I would have no trouble believing this. But the day is still young.
