No broadcaster is heavily vested in the Masters.
Augusta National does not sign multiyear deals with any broadcaster. All deals are for one tournament.
Of course as long as all of Augusta's demands are met, contract negotiations are a formality.
And of course as long as the on air talent behaves and announces in a manner to the pleasure of the Augusta National board and it membership, all is well.
So far I was not a big fan of Fox's coverage. It just seemed to me they tried too hard.
Joe Buck and Greg Norman were fine. Juli Inkster IMO was the best on course reporter of the group. Other than that, not memorable
