Ok.. The dish official forums have nothing on this other than to say that I might have a bad EHD or cables.
I tried to clear off my internal EHD as it was getting a little full. Certain recorded shows (and even if it works, it always shows this message) and I have to check to see just what was transfered. There is at least 50% available on multiple 1TB drives.
USB Device Transfer Error - 855
An error occurred while transferring events to your "External Device 1".
The Dish support threads (older ones) say that I may have a bad EHD or cable. I've discounted that as I have four (4) external EHDs (Movies, TV shows, Specials, etc) that I use to store program onto. I have tried it on all 4 and changed cables. Still get the error. There is one specific show "The Untold Story of the Sound of Music" that refuses to transfer among others. Same error regardless of which EHD I use and yes, I've rebooted the receiver many times.
Software version is S540 4/16/2015 Hopper w/Sling
Anyone else seeing this? Considering the S/W version hasn't changed, something else must have.
Can someone from Dirt internally ask to see if anyone else has reported this problem?
