The Diabolical Kind: Season 2, Episode 12

Thursday, 2 January 2014 (10:00 PM ET)

"Moriarty is brought in as a consultant on a kidnapping case that Watson and Holmes are investigating; Detective Bell struggles on the path to recovery."

Don't forget to rate this episode over at IMDb.com: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt3392730/

Two thoughts:

1. It's NICE to see one of the broadcasters air a new episode over the holidays.
2. It's NICE to see Moriarty, in more ways than one, make a reappearance...but I cannot believe the police would bring her in as a consultant.

I wouldn´t trust that devil Moriarty.

I wouldn´t trust that devil Moriarty.

Moriarty will probably reveal some long running evil plot that will tie up Sherlock for a long time... I like the twist in this series where Moriarty and Sherlock had a thing and he did not even know she was the root of all evil!

That's why I would insist she were to consult in the nude... :)

I'll betcha Sherlock would sell his soul to be tied-up by Moriarty once again. Besides, aren't women always at the root of all evil? Just ask Adam about that apple thing and being evicted from Eden...by God no less. ;)

Interesting episode I´d say, wondering if we´ll see more of that evil woman.

Sherlock: "You look a bit evil" :D

I have a hard time believing she could get such a cushy jail life, like a private facility and handler. I wonder what is going to happen now after 3 more murders? How much information could she possibly have to trade?

"Joan discovers an unsolved murder connected to a rare prehistoric fossil when she reviews one of Sherlock's cold cases; Sherlock's responsibilities as a sobriety sponsor cross personal boundaries."

I´m looking forward to see if Sherlock will let Watson solve this cold one, or if he will get invovled as in the last one he passed on to her.

Now a case involving a dinosaur fossil, that sure sounds like a cold case ;).

WGN America Lands Off-Network Rights to CBS' 'Elementary'

The cable network has acquired exclusive off-net cable rights to CBS' sophomore drama, and will be able to air it after each season has aired on the broadcast network. The Lucy Liu/Johnny Lee Miller Sherlock Holmes entry will join recently acquired Person of Interest, a fellow CBS drama, along with a batch of forthcoming originals, including April entry Salem and July's Manhattan, on WGNA's schedule.
