I still like the show (watched from beginning)... It is not the same as the British series Sherlock, but still it stands on its own merits.

I thought last night was one of the best written TV drama shows in a long time.

I thought last night was one of the best written TV drama shows in a long time.

Unfortunately, I was watching the show while visiting my parents and get an opportunity to fully appreciate the episode due to popcorn popping, taking the dog out, and parent's ill-timed chatter about family gathers during the show. It looked like a pretty good episode (something about Sherlock interacting with a murderess whom he corresponded with when he was a teenager - show's you how much I paid attention), but I'll have to re-watch when I have time.

I finally caught up watching the latest episode, and I read somewhere that if The Mentalist is not renewed for next year, it would be possible that Elementary could move to the Sunday night 10 PM timeslot.

I had high expectations when this series started.
Really liked the actress and the idea of a new take on Sherlock.
(There is an excellent new BBC series)
Wasn't impressed at all.
.
I've continued to watch the American series, and mellowed...or maybe it did. :)
Now I look forward to it. :up
