DVR 622 recording problems

Hi looked through but didn't see any thread about this. Has anybody been having problems with the 622 not recording the whole show? It has happened three times now for movies on different channels.

Do you think I just need to do a hard reset or something? And what is a hard reset for the 622. Haven't had to do one since I had by JVC D-100 Super VHS recorder (wow how far they have come)

I've never had this problem but you can manually add minutes to the timers. Hard reboot means unplug it wait a few minutes and plug it back in. Soft reboot is holding down the power button till it reboots.
