dvi-i to vga

can anybody help me as to how to tap to dvi-i to make vga connection, dvi-i to vga adpater arent available at my place so, instead i'd like to make one! can you help me as to what pin goes to what? dvi-i pin to what vga pin?

yah i already found the pin layouts of dvi-i and vga, but can you help me as to which pin on the dvi goes to which pin on the vga? my vga monitor is plug and play, so i guess its running ddc1 or ddc2 its a crt monitor 1024 by 768 max resolution 32 bit 60hz

can you just help me as to what pin goes where

Yeah, I picked up one for my 921 at a local computer store for about $10. And they are an overpriced store.

yah here's the thing, im from the philippines, and the thing is here i cant find one, even in computer stores here theres not one available, some video card packages has one, but that would mean i have to buy a new video card, and with regards to online shopping they dont deliver here! so basically im stuck with making my own adapter, so basically what i need is help, as to how to wire up the dvi-i to vga, which pin goes where (which pin on the dvi-i goes to which pin on the vga pin, so i can make my own dvi-i to vga adapter! please understand that if only i could really buy one i would even thou it would be over priced, i would really buy one, only problem is i really cant co'z its not available, not on computer stores or any other store near my place!

so im basically stuck with creating my own dvi-i to vga adapter
