Dumb Question About D* TV Guide

The DirecTV online TV listings includes two local stations that we do not see on our systems here (Metro Atlanta) -- WBRC & WVTM (Fox & NBC Birmingham respectively). Is that something that I should be looking for on the air soon?

i also wonder why i can see tons of networks like fox cbs etc. and my local channels but can only tune into my locals, not these different networks.

EG:

I have fox 5 las vegas
i also have "foxw" and "foxe" which i cannot tune into.

whats up with that?

fox w is a Los Angeles channel and fox e is a New York channel

Those are part of the permanent guide. If you don't want to look at them, on your channel list, go into your favorites and uncheck them...Save,, and they'll go away.
