DTV DVR or Tivo

I am a loyal DTV customer. I want to get a DVR but I don't know which one to get. I was wondering if Directv's DVR has Tivo? If not, which is better, DTV DVR or Tivo? I know that there is a price for Tivo but if Tivo is not on DTV's DVR, is there still a price?

The current D* DVRs have the TiVo service built-in, but if you go stand-alone don't forget ReplayTV as an option, They receive much better user reviews than the stand-alone TiVo.
