DSR922 how to find G3

Hi, I have the DSR922 and HDD200 and had a guy come and program all of the satellites for me a few years ago. I'm not home often so I've gone 9 months without any programming and just bought a package and USA is on G3. When I go to the Satellite Selection there isn't a G3. I've looked all over the internet to see if I could find the coordinates for it. I live in Portland, Oregon. I have, for Satellite selection: XB, L6, L5, K4, W1, K1, F1, A2, M5, A1, T7, G0, X0, G5, G9, C3, G1, C4, W7
I've looked at a chart to see which one is the closest to G3 and I'm still lost as it doesn't come up on my "guide".
Some of these I can't get for some reason. Can't find the guy that set these up for me and I think it's out of date now.
Any help would be appreciated as I have to go into town at a friends to watch Monk and Burn Notice..... on USA.
I'm a little afraid of loosing everything I have now by playing with it.

It sounds like the satellite is not programmed in. I dont have a 922 (I have a 905) and its under options 6-4 to select a satellite. It allows me to add and delete satellites from the "quick list"

I know G3 is in there as on the 905. It doesnt look like all the sats are programmed in. According to that you have
XB-G11 KU Band (91W)
L6-KU side of G26/T6
L5-KU side of G25/T5
K4-KU side of AMC4
W1/K1-AMC1
F1-Anik F1 at 107.3
T7 at 121
G0/X0 at 123
G5 at 125
G9 at 127
C3 at 131
G1 at 133
C4 at 135
W7 at 137

noticed a lot of KU sats in there. I would add the following
W3-AMC3 at 87W
T4 at 89W
GB-G11 at 91W
T6 at 93W
G3 at 95W
T5 at 97W
G4 at 99W
W4 at 101W

hopefully someone can chime in on how to add them to a 922

did they have you tune to a certain channel when you subscribed ?

sounds like you need to park on a subscription channel and let the maps download / update
one of the guys with a 4dtv can tell you a certain channel .... g3 is between L5 & L6 ( those are ku names ) i seem to remember something about g1 - 3 for map updates

From your post I cannot determine if you are only using the “Sat” button to look for G3. If you are, ,and you are not seeing G3, then you need to try the following:
On your remote, press Options, 6, 4, 4, and you should see a list of satellites that should include G3. If it does, and the little icon does not have a check mark on it, you need to highlight it with the direction arrows on your remote and press enter.
Your receiver should prompt you to move to the position of the arc where G3 is located. ( it should be about midway between L5 and L6”)

It may take some fine tuning by using the left and right arrows to bump the dish slightly to gain the highest signal quality. It would be a good idea to make sure you are looking for FOX News, you can select that channel number by using the channel up and down button while in the "satellite tuning" mode. Fox is channel 581.

If when you are in the options 6,4,4, mode and do not see the option for adding G3, you will need to go to satellite G1, TP3 to download the maps, Make sure you have a green light lit under the digicipher indicator. Turn the receiver off for about thirty minutes, and then retry the program satellite option I mentioned above.
