dpp44 heat

I am thinking of putting an enclosure to protect the dpp44 switch. Does anybody know if the switch generates lots of heat and require good ventilation ?

Where is it located?

What are you protecting it from, sun, rain, squirrels?

It has ventilation fins on it to help keep it cool.

It does need ventalation and it is already water proof.

I am trying to put the switch inside my H336 http://www.openhousesystem.com/product_detail.php?productId=7
and lock the cover. It will look nicer but I am not sure if it will generate too much heat inside the enclosure.

It will be fine. Mine is in one too and doesn't put out any heat.

Mines been outside since I got /won it... no problems in the desert...only preators are sun, rain and dogs lol....
