I thought I had a bad DP34 switch, but now I am wondering if my 622 is fried. On the evening of the Sopranos final, I had an issue with my 622. I accidentally tuned it to one of the dish application channels TVG or HRTV (cannot remember which one) and tried to cancel/change channels while it was loading. The receiver hung and I reset it by unplugging it. Afterward, I was not able to see 110. I get the following test results.

1 2 3

61.5 119 CONN

OK OK X

DUAL FEED QUAD

So, no HD Sopranos. The next day I swapped out the Quad DP LNB and no change, so I ran 119/110 direct to the 622 and I saw 119/110 from the Quad. Called DISH and they shipped a replacement DP 34. I just installed it and I still cannot see 110. I thought I would check in here before moving home :( and setting up a service call with DISH.

Thanks,

J.VO

I assume you have two lines from the DP34 to the 622 right?

Also, how long have you had the switch setup like you listed? I ask because I have had problems with any DP switch and losing sats etc when I did not have 119 in port 1 input.

I have the 622 with two lines from the dp34. I moved the satellite inputs around to 119, 110, then 61.5 and it made no difference. I have an 811 that sees the same results on check switch as the 622.

Yep, I think SatinKzo is on the right track.

Put 119 on port 1, 110 on port 2 and 61.5 on port 3. But clear the switch matrix before you run check switch again.

To clear the switch matrix:

Disconnect the satellite feed and run check switch. Connect satellite feed and run check switch again.

Change which receiver is the Remote TV2 receiver
