As of right now, I would suggest NOT buying from this seller.
On Sunday August 26th, I paid him a total of $30 including shipping via Paypal for 2 new Dish Pro Dual LNBs.
The box arrived on Tuesday September 4th and had 2 old dirty Dish Twin LNBs instead of the DP Duals. I informed the seller that afternoon about the problem and he said he did not remember what he put in the ad here but would check to see if he had 2 DP duals.
I have emailed him asking what is going on but have not heard anything else since Tuesday. It is now Friday.
I would like to get what I paid for or my money back.

It's probably an honest mistake. A lot of people confuse Dual LNBs with Twin LNBs. I see it everyday in the forums.
That is probably true about the confusion.
The issue I really have is that I haven't heard anything from him since Tuesday. The mistake should be addressed and corrected in a more timely manner. He said he would let me know in 1 day what he was going to do and it's been 3 days now.

I would not recommend taking money from 'DJ Rob' unless you walk on water! Thanks to all those that have made several repeat purchases from me without a single incident.

Walk on water? You jerk! If you would've communicated what was going on when you said you would, this wouldn't have been an issue. I have done plenty of deals here with no problems.
You now say you made a mistake in your classified post that you were unable to edit. But yet, you told me you had new DP Duals for sale and took my money? Why didn't you have a mod edit this post if you could not? Why didn't you tell me they were old dirty twins instead of new duals?
Oh and by the way, nice edit on that email you posted here Steve. If any of the mods would like, I can provide the REAL emails with full headers to show that Steve's last contact with me before my post here was Tuesday. And that the reply he quotes here he sent me Thursday, was really sent after I posted here on Friday night.
Here's the facts:
Steve, you sent me the wrong items and you promised you would get back to me last Wednesday to let me know if you had the correct items you could send me. You did not get back to me and you stopped replying to me.
You know I needed the correct LNBs by today (Saturday). So please either send me what I paid for, let me know when you can or give me my money back. That's all I have been asking for.
Why does it take 4 days to see if you have new DP duals there at your store?

Guys you need to settle this down by communicating, yelling and name calling will not take you anywhere. BTW, I was just making an observation that DP Dual and DP Twin do get confused a lot but please don't get me involved on this quarrel.

I DID NOT get an email from Paypal shipping so I'm not sure how legit the tracking number he posted here is. mfemfemfem, can you tell me why you got the email that someone sent you something, instead of me getting that email?
I did get this in my email tonight from mfemfemfem and Paypal was CCed on it.
"As I explained to 'DJ Rob', I admitted mistakenly sent the wrong items. The items this person is referring to were sent to them yesterday, September 8, 2007, exactly as I stated they would be on Friday, September 7, 2007. They have yet to return the items I mistakenly sent them! They stopped speaking to me on Thursday, September 6, 2007, and decided to post complaints publicly on the http://www.satelliteguys.us/satelliteguys-classifieds/ website. If you need any additional information please let me know. I have all of the emails and public posts with time and date stamps! If this continues I will be filing legal action."

Here's what Paypal said about the possibility of opening a claim against this person...
"As stated in our User Agreement, the claims process only applies to the shipment of goods. It does not apply to complaints about the attributes or quality of goods received. As long as something was shipped, we are unable to reverse this transaction or issue a refund."
So it appears someone can ship an empty box (or used dirty twins) and paypal will not do a thing about it.
I will however contact the authorities in Kaysville, Utah if I do not get what I paid for within 4 shipping days from yesterday. You have until the end of the day Thursday September 13, 2007 to put what I ordered in my mailbox. USPS says that 3 days is the maximum time that it takes for a package sent from Utah where this person is to my address here in Colorado.
One I verify I got what I ordered (2 new Dish Pro Dual LNBs), I will send these Twins back at your cost. I will not mess with a COD. You can Paypal me the shipping cost you charged me - $10.

I bought from the OP before and not had an issue, but I am seeing that he only posts in the classifieds other than 1 post in the computer section. Also, the qty's invovled don't seem to be stuff a person would normally have.

I just talked to USPS and they ran that tracking number that mfemfemfem supplied here. USPS says the label was generated on Sunday September 9th so it is impossible it was shipped on the 8th like mfemfemfem is claiming.

For the record SatinKzo I used to be an installer! Like yourself, SatinKzo, I have sold & BOUGHT many, many items to and from Sat Guy members. I have NEVER, EVER had a problem since becoming a supporter. This guy DJ Rob' has made many assumptions but does not know what he is talking about! Some people feel the need to be heard. So be it. I even gave this DJ guy references before he made a purchase from me. Look DJ your junk is on the way - DROP IT! Not sure if you can but try and find something more exciting in your life to talk about.

in the orignial post it says "DP Dual" yet you sent him a couple Twins? DJ Rob didnt say if they were Legacy or DishPro but it seems like you made the mistake in the first place and want to blame DJ Rob because all he is trying to do is get his product that he ordered.
Honestly if I wanted a DP Dual and got a Twin I'd be mad too but no need to get pissy and post people's names and such on the internet.
