DP Plus configuration problem

Hi-

I was previously using a Dish500 with a DP twin lnb. I used it with a 501 and a 301 receiver. I recently got a 942 receiver cheap so I activated it. I only had 1 cable running to the 942. I figured I could get a DP Plus lnb and use that in conjunction with the 501 and 942. The DPP allows me to use a Dish seperator so I can split the one line and feed both tuners for the 942. All seems correct so far right?
Well I hooked up the DPP for 110-119. I took out the 301 and put in the 942. I connected the Dish seperator and split the line for the 942. Did a check switch on the 942 and it picked up the new lnb. The signal however is very low. I was gettting 95+ on the 301 on each and now I am getting the 60-70's on the 942?
On the other end, my 501 found the new switch and shows it correctly. It however will not get a signal on the 110 sat. 119 comes in around 85.

Did I do something worng? Seems like it should be very straight forward. Does anybody have anythings to try?

Signal strength is different on different models. As far as the missing sat, try pulling the plug on the 501, wait 30 seconds, and then plug it back in. Then do a check switch, meaning go to check switch and click on "test".

Other possibilities are that you moved the dish slightly when you switched LNBs. Or that the new LNB is defective.

And Congratulations ! Your 942 will be swapped for a 622 for free !

I'm not so sure that those who don't subscribe to VOOM are eligible. I'm guessing that this 942 is not HD eligible if it is a new add to a Dish 500 system.

I am still having problems with the 110 signal. Some transonders come in with 80 on the signal meter while most dont come in or they are below 50.
I have tried to teweak the dish to get the best signal but while I can get beeter on some the other tranponders are still way too low. C

Does anyone else have any suggestions? Thanks
