Sorry to double post this, but I am not seeing any replies in the DVR section.
I want to get a reciever that has a Dolby 5.1 Digital output, as my D10 has no such thing. I see that best buy sell a $99 DVR that has the output. Is anyone using this reciever, and does it actually put out a digital signal? Is there anything else I need to do to make it work? Also can I use the DVR as a basic recorder, without signing up for the special D* service?
