Does the viewsat 9000 do DVB-S2?

I must add though, if DVB-S2 was something the eye patch gang needed, you could bet your life that it would be working.

Hopefully I will get enough time this weekend to find out. I think I will use there channel editor and add the channels just like the diamond. Hang tight, might have some interesting fids for you tommorrow night.

I had a VS9000 with add-on board for a while. Got it for a deal like you did.

It didn't work well when I could find some S2 feeds and the 9000 in general has issues with anything with SR over 22000 (Funny how that works). Really sucked for the HD sports feeds that I couldn't get.

If you can get a deal on it and it works, get it, sell it on ebay, turna profit, buy a pansat 9200 or for S2 a coolsat 8000. That's what I did!

I put it on Ku and it stuttered like there was no tommorrow, on c-band it was fine. My ku dish is a 1.2 meter and my quality was in the 9o's and it was not watchable. C-band in the 70's was fine. Definatly no DVD-s2. I need to cruise the eye patch boards and see if somebody needs to get rid of their 'useless cs8000' for a nice shiny veiwsat9000!
