I was just wondering if anybody knew if some locals will be moved from 105 to 129? I know that some are already on 129. I have connected a fourth sat for 129 and my receiver now gets the Richmond locals from 129.

Does anybody know if they are planning on replacing any Superdishes with the D1000? I was just wondering because I might unload my SD before that happens.

Somebody on here once stated that E* was planning on swapping some of the Superdishes for the D1000.

Also, does anybody know if Richmond will be moved? I pointed a D500 for 129 and the elevation was around 25.

If they swap the Richmond locals, they might have trouble with getting signal with that low of elevation.

That would be GREAT news. SuperDishes can be hard to tune in at times for 105, harder to install, more expensive, bigger, etc. A Dish1000 would be a breeze compared to a SuperDish.

Waaahhh! I love superdishes. when a customer raises an eyebrow at the size of their new dish i'm installing i reply, "Yeah, this is a MAN's dish for sure! You don't want one of those puny 18" dishes!"

New guy getting dish, need some advice please
