well I ordered another au9s satellite dish so I am defiantly staying with dtv. As soon as I get it setup i will be calling directv retention to try to work out compensation for all my aggravation. I will use the echostar deals on top of my horror story to try to work some deals.

I called directv today and told them my story. I said that I was fed up and was willing to change to dish network if necessary. I asked for a free hd dvr and was put on hold for a few minutes. He came back and said it was not a problem and also said that he would give me free hd service for one year. The tech is supposed to come Tuesday between 8 and 12, lets hope he shows up and hopefully, in the end, all will end well.
