Got to thinking about this and wonder if my thoughts are correct?
Back in the 80's, pre-encryption, we had what 10 - 15 satellites, and up to 24 transponders per satellite, with one analog signal per transponder (if they were all used). Now granted, everything there was available, but on a signal/channel count basis do we not have more available today that we can watch ITC?
Sure, we don't have HBO, Cinemax, The Movie Channel, TBS, TNN, CNN, etc., but we have a ton of viewable signals. Personally, most of what we have available is better than a lot of the Premium Channel programming, anyway.
Thanks.
