I just recently purchased a directv (slim Line) Hd dish that i am going to install on my own. The dish came with a HD SlimLine Three LNB3 Ka/Ku Slim Line LNB 3 that has 4 cable connection outputs on the LNB. I have not began to install the dish but my question is if I will need to purchase a Directv 21 Volt Power Inserter for my install. I am only going to use the dish/lnb to power one HD receiver. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks.

If the LNB on the dish has more than one output then it IS NOT SWM and it powered by the individual receivers.

You will not be able to use a H25 with that LNB, you'll need to get a H24.

As others mentioned, no power inserter needed with the non swm lnb you have. You will need a b band converter, two if you have a dvr.
