OK I have been RESISTING getting any kinda Cable TV. But I really want to see FoxNews especially if I can get it by itself. So, I have 300/300 fiber modem in another room away from all the TV's. If I ask AT&T for TV service, is it basically DIRECTV over fiber? or does AT&T have their own thing? I wish I could get Fox news a la carte but I doubt they are doing this. How do they get this signal to my TVs? I don't want them poking holes everywhere. Is it some kind of WiFi App or do they provide a ROKU like Wifi box at the TV's?

AT&T has U-Verse for TV, but they are no longer allowing new signups, they'll suggest DIRECTV Stream instead which uses an app that's available on Roku, Apple TV, Android TV and FireTV.

FOX News Channel doesn't have a standalone subscription option for the USA.

The cheapest option for you would be the $39.99 MyNews Genre pack from DTV Stream that has FOX News, FOX Business and your local FOX affiliate, along with some other news channels like Newsmax, The First, FOX Weather, i24 News, Bloomberg, CNBC, CNBC World, CNN, CNN International and MSNBC.

By the way this is worded you seem to be discounting streaming as option. There have to be competitive options that carry that channel, and it should be straightforward for you to stream to smart TV or adapter.

I actually want to get both fox news and fox business. There are other decent news outlets like One America but I get that for free. If I get DirecTv it is basically a streaming service today anyway, is it not? So, then who has these channels? I think Greg Gutfeld is hilarious and other presenters are pretty good as well like Maria and they seem to have gotten rid of some of the problem childs.

Nearly every major streaming provider has FNC and FOX Business, but the others don't offer a genre pack with just news channels.

Sling Blue is $45.99, but if you also want FOX Business that's another $6 for News Extra

The cheapest YouTube TV package with those channels is $82.99, for Fubo it's $84.99, for Hulu Live it's $81.99.

If you are in an Xfinity service area their new Sports & News package may be intriguing. $70/months, does NOT require the broadcast TV fee that their normal packages do ($30/month in my area, over $40/month in some areas). Includes locals, major sports and all major news networks. What is of interest is they still give an equipment option for people that are not comfortable streaming. For $12/month they include their X1 box, and the sports/news package includes 300 hour DVR at no cost. So for $82 you have a package comparable to a cable package that doesn't include the major cable networks outside of sports and news.

Of note, it includes most major sports channels but not all, TBS/TNT for example are not included. They are in an Entertainment package which is a $17 add-on. If you include that and a TV box you're at $99. Still better than most cable packages.

Not as good of a deal as streaming options like YouTube TV or sling, but for someone that wants a traditional cable experience this may be worth considering.

You can do a really basic setup with Dish or DirecTV satellite for $78/month, one basic receiver, without locals. DirecTV entertainment, one receiver, no locals is $78/month for two years. Dish Top 120, basic Hopper Duo is $78/month for two years. Dish gives $200 gift card right now as well

If you have an antenna for locals or don't want them, both satellite providers can get you a basic package with the news channels for $78/month.

Recommend MyEntertainment via DirecTV Stream, only $35 a month, includes those two channels and more-
