Hi all,
Anyone else lose the FTA Music on AMC 18 (DMX Hits)? I am unable to tune those anymore. I lost all signal on that transponder on my 4402X Motorola receiver. I'm still able to receive NASA using my Openbox S10 receiver, though. I don't see any changes according to Lyngsat to the Quantum Hits frequencies. Any help?

Thanks!

Just re-read your post, so I can't answer your question. Those were on DC2 transponders, I can get them on the Hits2Home system we have, but don't have any other dc2 box to test with.

Working fine on my 4D 922,but they did recently rearrange all the channels,so you might have to rescan or whatever you do with the 4402.Never had a commercial unit so not up on the finer points of their operation.:D

They changed to a different frequency.
also no longer in actual FP but now show up as MS mode.
Should still be able to receive them though once you input the new frequency into your 4402X receiver.

Thanks for the replies all :). Unfortunately, the commercial receiver doesn't have the capability to blind scan, and I've done a blind scan on my Openbox S10 and never found it but if it's still DCII, that explains it. Anyone have the new frequencies? I used to have the channel lineup sheet that showed all the VCT's and Channel #'s, etc, but that sheet still shows a date of back in January.

I also have a 4DTV box but the maps must not be right as I don't pick up any music channels at all.

The TPs I tried listed on lyngsat worked. Give 3800 V a try. Use 214 listed next to the SR and FEC.

Both 4500x and 920 working. 4500x shows 3800 as ZK.

new settings for the dmx channels on a commercial dsr are amc 18 t-1 Lband 1430 sr 19.51 fec 3/4 vct 214 , the actual mpeg 9channel) I dont know they are muxed with 10 ther video channels I think and you may be able to trip through them and find them.

Nope, the DMX Channel I'm trying for is the Beautiful Instrumentals.. 1190L 19.5 214VCT Channel 400.. I get NO SIGNAL on that transponder anymore. They had to of changed from DCII to another format, but Lyngsat still hasn't shown an update to the encryption type. Not too sure what's going on.

Yeah, I was just surprised, because usually *someone* updates, because there at least "used" to be a decent following of the DMX Music channels, lol..

FEC: 19.51
Service: 60
Service Type: DCII

I checked again this morning using Options 6-0-5 on my DSR410

Beautiful Instruments on 900

Authorization Status = MS
SourceID:Service Number = 5185:60
RF Freq: 1430
Transport Stream ID: 0-202

FWIW when I checked these on my 4410 rcvrs (I have 2) 1 of them does not have the 214 VCT

Noticed there are DMX programmes on TP2 still.

There maybe more on others TPs
Perhaps they'll be cleaned up and consolidated in due course.

Below is the current DMX line-up on a subbed DSR410.

There are 4 programmes not mapped on the 410.

Maybe I'll try to leave it on TP 1 to see if it'll download anything. I'll have to check if the 4DTV receiver grabs Channel 900 as well. Looks like they've moved a lot of music channels to that transponder. I'm presuming this is still VCT 214? I appreciate everyone helping out with this! :)

[EDIT] I've found a document online, and from what I'm reading, it looks like they changed to DVB-S2 -- can anyone confirm that? If that is true, that makes sense why I lost the signal, as my receiver will not decode DVB-S2 (My OpenBox of course, will) -- need to do a scan I guess.[/EDIT]

Leave it on TP1 and yeah it's still VCT 214.
It's DCII not DVB.
