Which do I use? I have a two lnb EA setup. My zip is 49749.

Dishpointer - E - 32.9, A - 156.4 (M), Skew - -21.1? (This is for 61.5 only)

Dishpointer - E - 36, A - 170.9, Skew - 78.5 This is for the 1000.4 dish with 3 lnbs.

Dish - E - 36, A - 166, Skew - 76 - I have this set up now, but I am not getting any signal.

I ended up trying all of these with no luck. I don't know how accurate the Winegard app is, but it was showing the birds to be just above the tree line. I suspect the trees where still blocking the signal. I got a signal one time of 32 for a second or two then it was gone.

Is it normal to have "reception error" beside "reception" on the diagnostic page?

The DishPointer number for the 1K4 use the 72.7 LNB as the focal point. The DishPointer website numbers are always more accurate than the Dish chart numbers, especially if you're using the coordinates or street address instead just a zip code. When using an AR app like the one from Winegard or DishPointer, make sure you're viewing from the approximate "look" angle of the offset dish when it's a tight fit. I usually stand a few feet in front of the dish. Can you move your tripod a little farther away from the trees? Even 10 feet can make a lot of difference.

I did try moving it back as much as I could without having tree trucks in my way., but it was not good enough. I knew it would be long shot to get the signal, but I tried at two different locations.

It's a relatively low elevation, but see if you can find a spot where you can at least hit the 61.5 sat. That'll give you most of the popular channels anyway. Another option would be to crank the elevation up to 37 and see if you can catch a signal from the 77 sat. That would also give you a number of the popular channels, although mostly in SD.

The 61.5 sat was the only one that was even close to being in the open. This is what I tried the most. I even put foil on the 72 sat feedhorn. I also had my tripod at it's tallest position.

We will be site-seeing today, so I can't play around with it. Another option I have it to pull the motorhome forward a few feet to clear the immediate trees. I would then try the Trav'ler again. I would first get up there with my phone and the Winegard app. It was raining on and off yesterday, so I did not want to get on the roof. But we will only be here for three more nights and Netflix is working great plus I get two local channels.

72 and 77 are at higher elevations than 61.5. Are you aiming through a hole in the trees rather than above them?

I guess a little bit of both. It is not a solid level tree line. The shorter tree that I was trying to see the sats was in between two taller trees. The 61 sat was just above the shorter tree and the 72 and 77 was clearly in the taller trees.
