DishNetwork Uplink Activity Report - 4/2/2008 3:10pm - 631 changes

Man, this report got me more confused. Why would they move this channel (even though is not available) to 61.5?

5419 - CSNBA EchoStar5 129W TP 08 ConUS beam changed to FOXBA - EchoStar3 61.5W TP 32 ConUS beam (NA)

WHAT DOES THIS MEAN???!!!

5150(28) - WFTS Echostar12 61.5 TP 01 Area 5 beam MPEG4 HD changed to (6) WDAY - Echostar12 61.5 TP 07 Area 2 beam MPEG4 HD(Tampa, FL)
5150(28) - WFTS Echostar12 61.5 TP 07 Area 2 beam MPEG4 HD changed to (6) WDAY - Echostar12 61.5 TP 01 Area 1 beam MPEG4 HD(Tampa, FL)
5151(10) - WTSP Echostar12 61.5 TP 01 Area 5 beam MPEG4 HD changed to (4) KXJB - Echostar12 61.5 TP 07 Area 2 beam MPEG4 HD(St. Petersburg, FL)
5151(10) - WTSP Echostar12 61.5 TP 07 Area 2 beam MPEG4 HD changed to (4) KXJB - Echostar12 61.5 TP 01 Area 1 beam MPEG4 HD(St. Petersburg, FL)
5152(8) - WFLA Echostar12 61.5 TP 01 Area 5 beam MPEG4 HD changed to (11) KVLY - Echostar12 61.5 TP 07 Area 2 beam MPEG4 HD(Tampa, FL)
5152(8) - WFLA Echostar12 61.5 TP 07 Area 2 beam MPEG4 HD changed to (11) KVLY - Echostar12 61.5 TP 01 Area 1 beam MPEG4 HD(Tampa, FL)
5153(13) - WTVT Echostar12 61.5 TP 01 Area 5 beam MPEG4 HD changed to (15) KVRR - Echostar12 61.5 TP 07 Area 2 beam MPEG4 HD(Tampa, FL)
5153(13) - WTVT Echostar12 61.5 TP 07 Area 2 beam MPEG4 HD changed to (15) KVRR - Echostar12 61.5 TP 01 Area 1 beam MPEG4 HD(Tampa, FL)

You know, it just hit me now, and i noticed on the Dishnetwork website, that only 2 of the 4 HD Locals in our area are available??!! What the hell happend to the other two, great, by the time my 2nd dish is installed by tomorrow, the HD locals will be turned off again

OK someone help me here, in the "channel additions" this happened:

6495(40) - WJSU [MPEG4 HD] added to EchoStar7 119W TP 09 Deep South beam (Available)(Anniston, AL)
6496(42) - WIAT [MPEG4 HD] added to EchoStar7 119W TP 09 Deep South beam (Available)(Birmingham, AL)
6497(13) - WVTM [MPEG4 HD] added to EchoStar7 119W TP 09 Deep South beam (Available)(Birmingham, AL)
6498(6) - WBRC [MPEG4 HD] added to EchoStar7 119W TP 09 Deep South beam (Available)(Birmingham, AL)

Then in the "channel moves" this happened:

6495 - WJSU moved from EchoStar7 119W TP 09 Deep South beam to Echostar12 61.5 TP 09 Area 9 beam (A)(Anniston, AL)
6496 - WIAT moved from EchoStar7 119W TP 09 Deep South beam to Echostar12 61.5 TP 09 Area 9 beam (A)(Birmingham, AL)
6497 - WVTM moved from EchoStar7 119W TP 09 Deep South beam to Echostar12 61.5 TP 09 Area 9 beam (A)(Birmingham, AL)
6498 - WBRC moved from EchoStar7 119W TP 09 Deep South beam to Echostar12 61.5 TP 09 Area 9 beam (A)(Birmingham, AL)

i think they were already in "EchoStar7 119W TP 09 Deep South beam", but does this mean they are no longer on 119 and are now on 61.5?

There seems to be a serious problem with this report. Looks like a lot of redundant redundancies repeating information already posted and repeated. :)

Tony, basically it is stuff moving from 110/119 to 61.5 and shifting from MPEG 2 to MPEG4, then being readded as MPEG 2 at 110/119

I think it is just the system used, it would have been better than instead of showing them as moves, just showing them as adds on 61.5

But I agree, the CSNBA to FOXBA makes NO sense, nor does all the moves off of 118k
