I'm venting, but Superbowl is approaching and I know for
certain I'm going to be watching it on SD. I live in the sticks
or "white" area and there is no OTA option.
I was watching one of Fox's financial programs on Saturday
morning and the Sirrus v XM radio debate came up. One of
the "experts" commented that he thought both systems were
obsolete, cause eventually the internet would be on your
car radio and you wouldn't have 100 channels or 200 channels,
but thousands of channels. That made me think.
I bought a HD Sony television 2 years ago and I see LESS
HD "worth-watching" programming then when I first signed up with Dish.
I've given up on Charlie even wanting to discuss HD. And with Voom
dying, I'm beginning to hope for the son-of-Dish, or maybe Directv,
or anyone who has a better business plan.
My point is, technology changes rapidly....change quickly or die.
It has happened with telephone, it may happen with radio, I hope it
happens with HDTV.
