Dishnetwork International reception in Florida

Hello everybody:
I have Dish 500, receiver 311, DP LNBF, I used this setup when in Virginia and Tennessee to receive DishNetwork international channel lineup (arabic language). Now I am in Florida (Orlando area) and I called DishNetwork to install the system for me. The guy who showed up told that my cuurent setup is not going to work, he said I needed a new dish, a 34 switch. His reasoning is that here in Florida I will not be able to see the same satellites that hosted my channels up in Virginia and Tennessee. To me this is weird since I am going to watch the same channel lineup I had for the last 6 years using the same equipment.
By the way the channels I am looking at are hosted on satellites 119, 61.5, or 148 according to lyngsat.com

Can any one tell me if this dishnetwork guy knew what he was talking about? to me he is not making sense but I am not an expert.

Now I decided to install the system myself; I appreciate any advise I can get.

Most of the Arabic language channels are on 61.5 which will work fine in Florida

Some are on 118.7 only which does need a new dish (Dish500+) but will still work there. The Arabic channels on 61.5 are duplicated on 118.7
