DISH'n It Up question

We currently have four owned 311 receivers, three HD TVs and two DVD-Rs (two units are basically for recording only and are connected only to the DVD-Rs).

I am considering using the DISH'n It Up promo to lease two 211s ($49 up front lease fee x 2 = $98) to replace two of the 311s.

The difference should be $0.01/month/receiver based on the $6.00 lease fee vs. the $5.99 additional receiver fee monthly. Correct?

When you do a DISH'n It Up what is the 'commitment time' on your lease?

I know you can only do one DISH'n It Up in a 12 month period. We are currently contract free (own all our receivers).

What am I missing?

I think it's 18 months.

how about this... sell two of the 311s on ebay, then buy a ViP622. Commitment free and easier recording

Are you subscribed to a Metallic HD Pack? If not, then you'll have to pay $6.00 to lease the 211 and another $6.00 Access fee or some other fee.

Commitment is 18 months.
