My ethernet ports are unused on both receivers. The only way they are getting IP addresses is through the homeplug on the receivers. The homeplug is the only way they can get onto my home network to get an IP as I don't have an ethernet cable hooked up to them. So that tells me that the homeplug built into the receivers themselves is working. So that eliminates them from being the source of my problems in dishcomm.
Ah, OK. I had to use one of those Netgear Powerline Ethernet adapter to connect my 622 to the router.
Yes I have done the test from both receivers. Before I hooked up the homeplug ethernet adaptor, the tests would show only the receiver that I was running the test from. After the adaptor was hooked up, it shows both receivers and the homeplug. But the remote receiver still shows up only as offline.
What was on that test screen - what signal ?You must see a word and a number.

Ok, there's some weird stuff going on today. When I go to do the tests on each receiver, I'm seeing the three devices in the test, and then one of them will change after about 10 seconds. Never seen that before. It will change from homeplug device to something that starts with a T on the mac address and then it says R+ on the version. See attached screenshot.
Also, my broadband tests are failing today. I'm guessing it's a problem on D's end, but don't know if it's related to my issues or not.

Cross off the receiver # and mac addresses.
I get Poor(1) on all my devices. I have a 722, 622, 211 and 3 Netgear adapters and they all show Poor(1).

You don't want to post your receiver's number on the Internet. Call it paranoia but I wouldn't even post the mac addresses.
Oh man ! You ruined whole purpose of the snapshots. [That paranoia is contagious].
Give at least last 2 hex numbers - .xx.xx of MAC.
T/R is related to a modem in that receiver what will be a hub, ie connected to phone or/and Internet.
Wasn't there a time when hackers could use the receiver numbers to get free programming? True, right now they can't but who knows in the future. Like I said, call it paranoia but I rather not post my receivers' number.
Ok, here's a couple more screenshots that I took this evening. I'll chance the receiver #'s. Notice that the strengths are good now, versus poor before. Don't get why that's changing. Also, sometimes a device named homeplug will appear on the test, and after aobut 10 seconds or so change to a device with a MAC id starting with a T. Sometimes it doesn't.
