Dish500 for Dtv? Hopefully...

Is there a possibility that my Dish500 will be good enough for DirecTv reception. It has two LNBs Disecq switch. My DN sub is ot and I would wnat to know if I go over to DTV would I need to purchase a whole new setup or would this be fine? I guess I could live without the 101 for a little while. Anyways I see lots of people in my neighborhood still have the round dish. Thanks for helping this newbeee out.
