Dish won't replace smart card, since when?

I'm pretty sure if there "were no hopper cards". That my receiver wouldn't be saying "please insert your smartcard".
 
Behind the door is a small card on 100% of hoppers. Joeys do not have cards. I would still ask Dirt. Seriously... Don't assume chat knows anything. 99% of them are in the Philipines. Same with phone reps(probably 15%), and new agents have no clue. Just go to DIRT. They are the only ones that I would stress out. If they say no, then it is no. But they may say yes.
 
Seems the OP would rather continue to aimlessly complain instead of listen to sound advice.
