Dish wireless usb stick

There are reports that for now the HIC is needed for DLNA and other "connected" features like BB@Home from Joeys.

I can confirm that with a wired connection to my one hopper, the joey connected to it will allow me to do BB@H. I do not know about DLNA altho i was assured by the install man it should work also. I have not tried it since my hopper is on a different router then the DLNA network.

My hopper and joey on the wireless USB stick does allow BB@H and on demand.

Hope u don't mind my piggybacking on this thread but Dish is telling me that the reason my Dish supplied Netgear wireless adapter is not connecting with my 2Wire Uverse 3600HGV router/modem is that the ports might be closed on the router/modem. I've verified that the ports this adapter uses 80,443,5678 are closed on the router/modem but AT&T Uverse tech support want to send me to their pay for advance tech team to find out how to do this....highway robbery. Can you help me?

Check out port forward.com. You should he able to locate your router and find screen shots and instructions.

I tried a PM to you, but you are not accepting PMs. ???
Is your help offer still open?

I'm working away from the DIRT team for the next couple of months. I will let one of the other team members know that you need assistance!

I hate to disagree with Zach, but I was told that Wirless does not work yet on the Hopper.

That's the first time I've been confused with Zach S., but at least I wasn't confused with Matt G. lol

Hopper 2.0 ??

Love the Hopper & Joey, but . . .
